Title: | Etudes || No. 4 |
Dedication: | son Ami F. Liszt |
Pupil's copy of FE3, from the collection of Chopin’s works belonging to his pupil Camille O'Méara-Dubois. FED contains fingering in bars 10, 27, 29 and 60, as well as the slur in the R.H. in bars 16-17 written in pencil by the composer. The characteristic mark, separating semiquavers in bar 1, underlines the correct phrasing.
