In the entire Op. 24 in GE3 a number of inaccuracies from GE2 was corrected and also a number of arbitrary changes introduced to make repeated fragments uniform. The only significant change occurring in this Mazurka may be put into the latter category – in the L.H. part in bar 112 an octave was replaced with a fifth.
GE3 is only known in the version comprising the entire opus; yet, the corrections may have also been made in the Mazurkas published individually.
