In EE2 all the defects mentioned in the description of EE1 were corrected (except for the change of the type of accents), sometimes contrary to GE, e.g. in bar 105 (the wrong e
note was changed to f
, instead of to d) or 125 & 216-217 (dots were added in place of the overlooked wedges). Some EE1 mistakes remained uncorrected, e.g.:
- the overlooked tie to g2 in bar 226;
- 3 overlooked slurs and 2 overlooked dynamic marks in bars 230-231;
- f instead of d in bar 343.
In EE2 arbitrary changes were also introduced, e.g. an arpeggio was added before the 1st chord in bar 378.
