GE1 is based on FC and was not corrected by Chopin. In this edition, accidentals, mainly cautionary, were quite carefully revised, e.g. in bar 33, 36 or 57. The reviser entered some of them already into FC, e.g. in bar 19, or 31, 35 and 39. Other changes include:
- addition of a R.H. slur in bars 27-28,
- addition of a staccato dot under the bass F note in bar 48,
- addition of a rest on the 3rd beat of the L.H. (omitted by Fontana) in bar 55.
In GE1 mistakes were committed too, e.g. in bar 9 was overlooked.
There are copies of GE1 differing in the price on the cover (25 Ngr instead of 20 Gr).
