b. 108-109

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt III

No marks in FE (→EE,GE1GE2)

L.H. staccato dots in GE3

..

Staccato indicated in GE3 for all octaves in the L.H. must be an arbitrary action of the reviser of that edition.

b. 108

composition: Op. 31, Scherzo in B♭ minor

..

In A there are visible traces of a correction of the rhythm of the last two chords in the R.H.: initially, they were provided with the following rhythm: . However, it is uncertain whether the middle note of the last chord was also changed. Admittedly, in the deleted chord a more distinct trace of a note is visible at the pitch of f2, yet a change of rhythm only would not have required any deletion of notes; it would have been enough to blot out the quaver flag.

b. 108

composition: Op. 50 No. 3, Mazurka in C♯ minor

No sign in AI & Af (→FEEE)

Arpeggio sign in GE

..

Just like in b. 16, the missing arpeggio mark in the autographs and in FE (→EE) is probably an inaccuracy of notation.

b. 108

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

Slur in FE (→EE)

No slur in GE

..

In the main text we do not include the triplet slur in FE (→EE) – (cf. General Editorial Principlesp. 16), particularly since its authenticity is uncertain.

b. 108

composition: Op. 2, Variations, complete

 from 3rd triplet in A

from 2nd triplet in GE (→FE,EE,FESB)

..

The early start to the  hairpin in GE (→FE,EE,FESB) is most probably an inaccuracy of the engraver of GE1
