In A there are visible traces of a correction of the rhythm of the last two chords in the R.H.: initially, they were provided with the following rhythm: . However, it is uncertain whether the middle note of the last chord was also changed. Admittedly, in the deleted chord a more distinct trace of a note is visible at the pitch of f2, yet a change of rhythm only would not have required any deletion of notes; it would have been enough to blot out the quaver flag.
