b. 125-126

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

Slur beginning in A

GE1 (→FEEE)

GE2 (→GE3)

..

The slur in A begins on a semiquaver, along with the melodic narrative. In GE1 (→FEEE) it begins over the dotted crotchet, and in GE2 (→GE3) it starts at the beginning of the bar.

b. 125

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

A probable interpretation of the accent in A

Possible reading of the accent in A (→GEFEEE)

..

The type of accent intended by Chopin is not clear. A long accent seems more probable when we compare that bar to the analogous bar 117. GE (→FEEE) have a short accent here.

b. 125-126

composition: Op. 38, Ballade in F major

No G in bar 126 in A (→FE,EE,GCGE)

suggested by the editors

..

In the sources there is no extension of to bar 126 (note and tie). It is almost certainly Chopin's oversight, related to the transition from bar 126 to a new page in A. Cf. analogous bars 101, 107 and 132.

b. 125

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

No f in A (→FEGE1,EE)

Note f in GE2 (→GE3GE4)
