EE1 is based on FE and was not corrected by Chopin. In EE1 only a few minor changes were introduced into the musical text:
- the long accent in bar 24 was reproduced as short,
- instead of in tempo, a tempo was given in bar 37,
- the
placed at the wrong pitch in bar 44 was corrected.
In addition, as was the case with other opuses of Mazurkas, the authentic title was preceded by the arbitrary phrase Souvenir de la Pologne.
