Numerous changes were introduced into EE3, e.g. on the basis of a comparison with GE1.

The presented copy bears the company stamp of the Ashdown & Parry publishing house on the front page, which means that it is a reprint performed already by Wessel's successor. The analysis of certain details of the collective front page (details that would change over the years) allows us to estimate the date it was published, i.e. ca. 1868.*
The few handwritten notes visible in the presented copy, written in black ink or in purple crayon, have no source value.
