EE2 introduced small amendments to the text of EE1 i.a. on the basis of a comparison with GE1.
In the Prelude in E, a careful reassessment of the chromatic notation was carried out leading to EE2 being the most accurate of all the first editions in this respect – cf. b. 13, 18, 26 or 31.
The copy presented in mUltimate Chopin dates from around 1868 – see Prelude in D, no. 15.
