Slurs
b. 160-163
|
composition: Op. 43, Tarantella
..
In the sources bars 160 - 163 are slurred differently. The FE (-IE) variant and EE may result from the imprecise notation of FC3. The GE must be a free interpretation, and yet here we also find differences - in the first three impressions there are only two slurs on the two beats of b. 161. Only in GE4 a slur on the second beat of b. 160 and a slur on bars 162-163 were added.

b. 180
|
composition: Op. 43, Tarantella
..
In b. 180 the initial theme of the piece returns. Similarly to b. 4 (and repeat in b. 12) we add a slur extending over to the next bar. The same was done only in GE4. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: GE revisions |

b. 181-182
|
composition: Op. 43, Tarantella
..
In GE1 slurs over bars 181-182 are parallel and connect upper and lower notes of the dyads accordingly, instead of extending d1 with one tie and mark the motif with another just like it is marked in the other sources. In EE the second slur was omitted. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GE , EE inaccuracies |
