In GE2, attempts were taken to reproduce the text of GE1 without any changes, which, however, was not entirely successful, since a few mistakes were committed:
- overlooked was the arpeggio mark in b. 12 and 68;
- overlooked was the staccato dot in b. 28 and 60 and 89;
- the slur in b. 30 (at the end of the page) was shortened, in spite of the fact that it continues in the next bar;
- overlooked was the
hairpin in b. 48;
- in b. 55 (at the beginning of the line) the ending of the tie was misinterpreted as an ending of a phrase mark. That change, seemingly rational, must have been introduced by the engraver ad hoc and testifies to a total ignorance of the Mazurka's music;
- overlooked was the pedalling in bar 57, and in b. 103 the correct markings of GE1 were distorted by moving the
mark to the beginning of the bar;
- in b. 67 the beginning of the slur was moved – similarly to b. 55, in a new line the correctly printed slur was adjusted to the mistake in the previous one.
