The missing accents is almost certainly an oversight of the engraver of FE (→EE1) – bar 638 opens a new line of text, which would often cause distraction and defects of various kind. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , GE revisions |

The b2 note, featured in GE as the 4th quaver of the bottom voice, is either the original version or, which is much more likely considering analogous bar 623 and 627, a Terzverschreibung error. The traces of proofreading visible in FE prove that the version was initially present also in this edition, but it was changed in the last phase of proofreading. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Terzverschreibung error , Authentic corrections of FE , Errors repeated in GE |

The visibly incomplete slurring of GE1 (→GE2) probably reflects one of the original versions of the slurs in FE, changed then in the last phase of proofreading. The slur added in GE3 constitutes a natural addition, in particular in the face of the authentic slurring of six previous bars. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GE , GE revisions , Authentic corrections of FE |
