b. 51-52

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major

The initial notation of A (  for c flatin bar 52)

Naturals added in A

GE (→FEEE)

..

A has naturals before the 5th note from the end in bar 51 and the 3rd note of bar 52, which makes  them, respectively, c3 and c4. These naturals were most probably added by a foreign hand (perhaps the reviewer of GE1). Initially, A had only  before the 3rd note of bar 52. Therefore we give that initial version as the version of A, disregarding the improbable change, and we also supplement the omitted   in bar 51. The editions have the unquestionable text with the two flats (c3 and c4) in those places. Cf. bar 55.

b. 55

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major

written in by mistake or by a foreign hand in A (→GE1)

in FE (→EE), GE2 and GET

..

A (→GE1) has a cautionary  before the upper note of the last sixth of the triplet, instructing us to read that note as c3. This is obviously a mistake, corrected in the proofing of FE (→EE), GE2 and GET.
