b. 45-46

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major
..
In particular sources, dynamic markings in those bars differ significantly. The version of A reproduced – despite various inaccuracies - in GE (→FE→EE) was later fundamentally changed, which can be seen in energetic deletions and additions in teaching copies and FEFr. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Annotations in teaching copies , Annotations in FED , Inaccuracies in GE , Annotations in FES , Annotations in FEFr , Authentic post-publication changes and variants , Annotations in FEJ |

b. 49-50
|
composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major
..
We perceive the indication in bar 50, added by Chopin in the three teaching copies and written into FEFr, to be part of a definitive change of the dynamic concept in several fragments of the Nocturne (cf. bars 25-26, 45-46, 52). The noted by Franchomme in FEFr naturally supplements that change. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Annotations in teaching copies , Annotations in FED , Annotations in FES , Annotations in FEFr , Authentic post-publication changes and variants , Annotations in FEJ |

b. 52
|
composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major
..
The indication con forza occurring in A (→GE>FE→EE) was deleted by Chopin in FEJ and FES, and removed by Franchomme from FEFr. We perceive those actions as the part of the radically altered concept for the dynamics in that part of the Nocturne (see bars 49-50). We also suggest the possibility of taking into account the somewhat unclear entry in FEJ. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Annotations in teaching copies , Annotations in FES , Annotations in FEFr , Authentic post-publication changes and variants , Annotations in FEJ |

b. 60
|
composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major
..
The in A is written on the lower staff, so it clearly relates to A flat1 of the L.H. In GE (→FE→EE) the marking is placed higher, between the staves, so it is not clear what it applies to. In the main text we preserve the notation of A, as in GE there are no signs that the marking was moved. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GE |

b. 62
|
composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major
..
The marking , present in A, was omitted in GE1 (→FE→EE), and reappeared only in GE2. The and added in FEFr are the alternative supplement to the incomplete notation of the majority of editions (both sets of markings describe a similar - if not identical - performance). category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE , Annotations in FEFr |
