In this later impression of EE, endorsed on the cover already by Wessel's successors, the Ashdown & Parry company, the dedication removed in EE2 was restored. Several dozen changes were introduced into the note text, most probably still in the last years of activity of the Wessel company, ca. in 1856-1860 (information after Annotated Catalogue). The majority of them are justified, probably introduced on the basis of comparison with GE; they are combined with varied, arbitrary modifications of the reviser:
- hairpins were added in bar 21 (arbitrarily over the R.H.), 235 and 396-401,
- a slur was added in bars 163-164,
- the necessary accidentals were added in bar 227,
- a staccato dot was added in bar 262 and an accent (arbitrarily as a short one) in bar 200.
The rhythmic values of the grace notes in bar 430 were changed, probably also under the influence of GE; they were printed as small semiquavers. Moreover, the edition contains a new inaccuracy – an ambiguous notation of the slurs in bars 241-242.
