A later impression of GE1, dated for 1868-1871, in which a few mistakes were corrected; however, arbitrary revisions were also introduced. The changes cover, e.g.:
- a half-way correction of the mistake in bar 7,
- an arbitrary addition of a staccato dot in bar 232,
- a correct addition of a tie in bar 313,
- correction of an erroneous note in bars 135, 341,
- a justified change of a hairpin to an accent in bar 413,
- addition of a necessary accidental in bar 454.
GE2 did not avoid new mistakes and inaccuracies; they include:
- a wrongly corrected pitch of a note in bar 99,
- an incorrect revision of a Terzverschreibung in bar 430.
