When interpreted literally, the slur of A runs from the 3rd to the 14th demisemiquaver. The patent inaccuracy did not mislead the engraver of GE (→FE→EE), who embraced the whole group with the slur.

The slurs of A are not entirely clear; however, it is difficult to assume that Chopin would like to end a slur before resolving the suspension, particularly since a similar measure was present already in the previous bar. In spite of this, GE1 (→FE→EE) includes slurs embracing three notes only, which was corrected in GE2. In the main text we also add a slur in the analogous figure in bar 296.
