in GC (→GE) & FE1 (→FE2,EE1)

b. 228-229

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt II

No accidentals in GC & FE1 (→FE2EE1)

Naturals in GE, FE3 (→FE4) & EE2

..

The absence of the naturals raising g(1) to g(1) is almost certainly a mistake of Chopin who partially corrected his error in the proofreading of FE3 by adding a  on the 2nd crotchet in bar 228. In FE4 the second necessary  was added, yet both signs are only in GE and EE2.

b. 240

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt II

..

Similarly as in bar 52, the bottom note of the 1st chord in FE1 (→FE2) is an erroneous a1. The patent mistake was corrected in FE3 (→FE4), EE and GE, which in the case of FE and EE could have been performed by Chopin.

b. 242

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt II

No sharps in GC (→GE) & FE1 (→FE2EE1)

Sharps in FE3 (→FE4) & EE2

..

Same as in bar 54, we include in the main text the sharps raising the f1-f2 grace note to f1-f2, added – most probably by Chopin – in the proofreading of FE3 (→FE4). The change was introduced also in EE2.

b. 245

composition: Op. 35, Sonata in B♭ minor, Mvt II

Chord with c2 in GC & FE1 (→FE2EE1)

Chord with c2 in GE, FE3 (→FE4) & EE2

..

The chord with c2 is most probably a result of an oversight of the composer, which is confirmed by the  added – probably by Chopin – in FE3 (→FE4).
