A second edition of a version including the entire Opus in one book, in which numerous arbitrary changes with respect to GE1op were introduces. They include, for example:
- additions of accidentals,
- additions and changes in performance indications, generally on the basis of comparison of analogous places, e.g., addition of a slur in bars 15-22 or signs in bars 93-94 and 101-102;
- other changes unifying analogous places, e.g., addition of ties of a chord in bars 97-98.
There are also impressions of GE2op differing in the details of the cover or printing technique. The copy presented in mUltimate Chopin comes from a slightly later impression (ca. 1856).
