b. 31

b. 32

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

..

Accidentals in A are to be found only before the first chord and a2-a3 on 5th quaver in R.H. All the necessary signs were added already in FE1, and repeated in the remaining editions (except for GE1 which overlooked  next to a3).

b. 33

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

..

Cautionary flats next to e-g in the L.H. were added – possibly by Chopin – in the proofreading of FE1. A similar addition was performed in all subsequent editions.

b. 33

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

..

The notation of accidentals in the R.H. arpeggio is not fully compliant with rules of the orthography. Chopin needlessly repeated  next to a2 on the 2nd beat, but forgot  before the last demisemiquaver (c1). The omitted accidental was added in EE and GE2 (→GE3GE4).

Quaver F in A (→FEGE1,EE)

No F in FES

Staccato quaver F in GE2 (→GE3GE4)

..

In the ninth chord in the L.H. at the beginning of the bar, Chopin deleted in the pupil's copy FES. The simplification can be considered a variant for a small hand.

GE2 (→GE3GE4) arbitrarily assigned a staccato dot to this note.
