We add a cautionary  before e2. The sign was placed in GE4 (→GE5), in which the revisers also added a  for ein the L.H. (according to us, unnecessary). Both signs appear in GE4 (→GE5) only the first time.

In the main text we give the  hairpins on the basis of A. In FE1 (→GE1) they were reproduced differently the first and second time. According to us, the slightly longer sign printed the 1st time better conveys the idea of the hairpins of A and this is the version we adopt as the context interpretation of the text of these sources. It was interpreted in the same manner in EE and subsequent GE.

The repetition of bars 1-12 is marked in A with a conventional repetition sign. In turn, in FE (→GE,EE), due to purely editorial reasons (division into pages), the bars are written a second time, which erroneously indicates to perform them twice also at the time of repeating this section da Capo.

The c1-e1 third in the L.H. in FE (→GE1,EE1) is written monophonically the first time. The mistake was corrected in GE2 (→GE3GE4GE5) & EE2 by adding a quaver stem to the top note; at the same time, a small unnecessary fragment of the stem was not removed, combining two note heads on their left side.
