GE4 does not contain the accent for the last quaver in the L.H. Its omission could have been a totally accidental fault of print. In GE5 the sign reappeared.

The lack of  is in the editors' opinion an inaccuracy of A and of the remaining sources cf. analogous bar 9. The ending of the first section of the Polonaise was written by Chopin less carefully than the respective fragments of bars 9-12 – cf. the notes concerning the arpeggio in bar 35,  in bar 36,  in bar 36, accidentals in bar 36.
