A (→FE→GE1,EE) includes an erroneous A2-C tenth. It is a patent error of Chopin in the number of the ledger lines. The pitch of the note was corrected in GE2 (→GE3→GE4→GE5).

Both in bars 5 and 9 A does not include the  returning b on the 3rd beat of the bar. This patent inaccuracy was corrected already in FE1. Similarly in bar 34.

The sign opening the repetition of bars 13-37, in A probably accidentally overlooked, was most probably added by Chopin in the proofreading of FE (→GE,EE). Cf. bar 54.

The absence of the G note in the last quaver in the L.H. is most probably a mistake of Chopin. FE and the remaining editions include this note, although it is not certain whether this place was corrected (the engraver could have not noticed the note or ignored the absence).

The absence of the staccato dot in A for G1 in the L.H. in bar 16 is to be considered to be Chopin's oversight - the dots are present in similar bars 14 and 18. Chopin did not correct the mistake in the proofreading of FE, moreover, in FE (→EE) the engravers overlooked also a dot in bar 19, which in A is written in an abbreviated manner, with a repetition sign of the previous bar. In GE1 the sign was placed only in bar 14. A revision was performed respectively in GE2 (→GE3), validly adding dots in all analogous places.
