The second German edition was prepared in two versions: as a volume containing the entire Opus 24, and as four separate Mazurkas published individually. GE2, as compared to GE1, has a number of changes and additions, some of them arbitrary, e.g, adding 
in bar 64, and some based on re-reading of A, e.g. separation of the L.H. slur in bar 30 or restoring 
in bar 38. Accidentals were also revised and added where necessary, e.g. in bars 3, 9, 34-35, 62.
We present the Mazurka in the version published separately. Due to the fact that an individual title page of the opus was replaced with a collective list of the Mazurkas, the dedication was omitted. Pencil additions that can be seen in the presented copy have no source value.
