Second German edition, Breitkopf & Härtel (6419), after 1852, in which a part of the errors was corrected, among others:
- open fifths in bar 38
- continuation of the slur at the transition between bars 76-77
- Chopin overishgts in corrections of analogous places, e.g. bar 81, bar 182
- incorrect pitch, e.g. bar 86
- revisions of the slurring in bars 92-95
- lack of the tie in bars 141-142
In addition, a number of arbitrary revisions was introduced:
- deletion of notes in chords, often in order to homogenise them with analogous bars, e.g. bar 149
- placing performance indications and marks, e.g. leggiero in bar 165.
