On the 3rd crotchet FE has a staccato dot under f2 instead of the d2 note. Chopin corrected this mistake in FEG (→GE), in pencil in FED and in the base text to EE.

In GE1 (→GE2→GE3) and EE there are no staccato dots under the 2nd crotchet (d1) in bars 58 and 62. These are almost certainly errors of the engravers.

In our opinion, as far as the music is concerned, it is justified to perform bars 58-59 on one pedal as EE indicates in analogous bars 62-63, 66-67 and 70-71. It cannot be ruled out that the engraver of EE included this additional indication by mistake.

The remaining editions have no pedalling at all in this fragment.

The only source with pedal indications in this fragment, EE gives one two-bar long pedal in bars 64-65. According to us, it is recommended to change the pedal between the bars.
