EE3 - Corrected impression of EE2

Publisher: Wessel & Co.
Date: 1836-1837
Title: Douze Grandes Etudes || No. II
Dedication: ses amis J. Liszt et Ferd. Hiller

Corrected impression of EE2 in which the majority of its defects was corrected, among others, the omitted accidentals, dynamic marks and accents were added (see the characteristics of EE2).

Moreover, a few other minor additions were performed, e.g., a  before c3 in bar 5 was added, slurs in the L.H. in bars 17 and 44-45, an accent in bar 26.

EE3 was reprinted on a number of occasions with different covers. In the presented copy, the cover includes information concerning the already published Etudes Op. 25, thus it dates back at least to 1838. In even later copies provided only with a collective cover of the "Wessel & Co's Complete Collection of the Compositions of Frederick Chopin" series, the dedication is shortened – without "ses amis" and only with the initial of (F) Hiller.
