The hairpins   in A may be read and interpreted in a number of ways. This is so because the beginning of the mark was drawn too vigorously and its ends are of unequal length. The versions of GE1 (→FE) and GE2 (→GE#) present two attempts to decipher the notation of A. The hairpins   in EE are probably a distorted accent.

In GE1 (→FE, GE2), a  was printed before G flat in the L.H. This is an error, probably resulting from the mistaken reading of the letter 'p' from . In EE this erroneous marking was placed above the note and in GE3 – removed.
