b. 105

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

An accent in A (→GE2GE3)

 in GE1 (→FE)

An accent in EE

..

The accent on the 2nd crotchet of the L.H. visible in A was misinterpreted in GE1 (→FE) as short hairpins . The proper form of that mark was restored in GE2 (→GE3). EE also has that accent, but moved under the stave.

b. 105

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

 under the L.H.  in A (→GE1FEEE)

between the staves in GE2 (→GE3)

..

The indication  is placed under the 3rd crotchet of the L.H. in A (→GE1FEEE). In GE2 (→GE3) it was moved and placed between the staves.

b. 105

composition: Op. 24 No. 4, Mazurka in B♭ minor

No  in A (→GE1FE)

 in EE and GE2 (→GE3)

..

In A (→GE1FE), the asterisk  is missing, which must be considered a mistake in that context. We add  at the end of the bar in accordance with the original pedalling of the analogous bar 43. An identical addition was already made in EE and GE2 (→GE3).

A less probable reading of the accent in A (→GE); GE3

No accent mark in FE (→EE1EE2)

..

The accent under the 1st note of the bar in A should, in our opinion, be considered a long one. In GE it was reproduced as a short accent, which is hardly surprising in this case.  In FE (→EE1EE2) the mark was omitted, probably by accident. It reappeared in EE3.
