b. 286-288

composition: (Op. 4), Sonata in C minor, Mvt IV

..

In A there is no accidental to the last quaver in bar 286 and 288. The patent inaccuracy was corrected in GE (→FE,EE,IE).

b. 289-292

composition: (Op. 4), Sonata in C minor, Mvt IV

..

Chopin entered into A an unnecessary  to e2 in the 2nd L.H. chord in bar 289, and omitted this accidental to e in the R.H. in bar 292. Both defects were corrected in GE (→FE,EE,IE). Moreover, none of the sources include a  to e2 in the 2nd half of bar 290, which results from a different rule regarding the validity of accidentals in the presence of an octave sign.

b. 290

composition: (Op. 4), Sonata in C minor, Mvt IV

Wedge in A (→GEFE,IE)

No mark in EE1

Staccato dot in EE2

..

The missing wedge in EE1 is most probably an oversight, inaccurately corrected in EE2.

b. 293

composition: (Op. 4), Sonata in C minor, Mvt IV

Slur from F1 in A & EE

Slur from F in GE (→FE,IE)

..

The earlier starting point of the slur in GE (→FE,IE) is either a routine revision, adjusting a slur to a rhythmic group (in this case a bar), or an inaccuracy. The EE version could have resulted from a misinterpretation of the GE slur, and its compliance with the A notation is almost certainly accidental.

b. 294

composition: (Op. 4), Sonata in C minor, Mvt IV

..

In A the third in the bottom voice is a semibreve, which is a mistake. It was corrected in GE (→FE,EE,IE). Four bars later, all sources contain the correct version. Similarly, in bar 306.
