Title: | Impromptu pour le Piano Forte |
Dedication: | A Mademoiselle la Comtesse Caroline de Lobau |
The first English edition, based on a lost manuscript (autograph or copy). EE has a number of elements that are absent from the other sources. However, some of them were initially written in A and later changed by Chopin. Such corrections can be seen in bar 10, 17, 28, 69, 113, 115. This allows us to conclude that the base text for EE1 was written earlier than A.
