When compared with GE1, GE2 has a better layout of the musical text (division into pages and systems) and several dozen various changes:
- the entire text was revised again with regard to accidentals,
- performance markings (accents, dynamic signs) were supplemented, partly on the basis of A, partly by comparison with analogical fragments,
- some arbitrary changes were introduced, e.g. in bar 11.
