b. 569

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

No fingering in FE (→GE)

Fontana's fingering in EE

..

The additional fingering in EE only repeats the scheme indicated by Chopin in the 1st half of the bar.

b. 569

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

on 3rd beat in FE (→EE)

at end of bar i EE1

..

In this bar, there is no musical reason to release pedal earlier than in the previous bars. Therefore, the notation of FE (→EE) is inaccurate, most probably due to lack of space under the octave in bar 570 in [A], which forced the placement of the  mark still at the end of bar 569 and, consequently, a respective shift of the  asterisk. In GE1 (→GE2), the notation is less misleading – the  mark was placed directly before .

b. 570

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

on 2nd beat in FE (→EE)

on 2nd & 3rd beat in GE

..

The additional  must be a mistake of the engraver of GE (perhaps an unfinished correction – following the erroneously printed mark on the 3rd beat of the bar, the correct indication was added, yet the wrong one was not removed.

Fingering written into FED

No fingering in FE (→GE)

Fontana's fingering in EE

..

Fontana's fingering is identical to the one indicated by Chopin in FED; it is just more accurately written out. In the main text, we include only the undoubtedly authentic entry of the composer.

Wedge in FE (→EE)

No mark in GE

..

The missing wedge over the topmost note is probably an oversight of the engraver of GE, although one cannot exclude a later addition of the mark in the last phase of proofreading of FE.
