The long accent written by Chopin in A was reversed in GE1 (→FE) so that it resembles small crescendo hairpins. In EE that reversed mark, difficult to understand in the context, was omitted altogether. GE2 introduced a short accent, yet assigned it to the sixth in the L.H.
