Issues : Authentic corrections of FE
b. 218
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
In addition to the much more serious change of pitch – see the preceding note – Chopin also changed here the rhythm of the 1st beat of the bar from to 2 quavers. category imprint: Differences between sources |

b. 234
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
Chopin added here dotted rhythm while proofreading FE1. The quavers in GE may be the initial version of this and previous, analogous bars (b. 171, 175 and 228), overlooked by Chopin at the time of performing corrections. Two quavers occurring in this passage in AImaz corroborate this hypothesis. category imprint: Differences between sources |

b. 277
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
In the main text we include the c notes, added in the four quaver chords at the stage of proofreading of FE (→EE), almost certainly by Chopin. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Authentic corrections of FE |

b. 282-283
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
Like in b. 23-24 and analogous, in the main text we follow FE, proofread by Chopin, hence we add d in the L.H. on the 1st and 3rd beats of b. 282 and on the 1st beat of b. 283 as well as d2 and d on the first semiquaver of the triplet in b. 283. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Authentic corrections of FE |

b. 284
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
In the main text we suggest the markings of FE for the chordal section starting from the syncopated crotchet; there is a possibility to add the staccato dot from GE in analogous b. 25. At the same time, we correct the third accent, which was misplaced, i.e. it was put over the first chord in b. 284 (which is tied!). EE1 repeated the mistake of FE and also overlooked the slur (which was added in EE2). category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , Errors in EE , Authentic corrections of FE , Errors repeated in EE |
