In A and FC3 there is a tiny tie on the chord in the second half of b. 223 that must have been left by Chopin by mistake as continuation from previous markings. It does not resemble any of the ties Chopin used. The slur in GE3 (>GE4) is either an arbitrary revision of this editon or - if it was also present in [FC1] - a mistakenly interpreted tie, as described above.
