The initial version of A1 was corrected still in this autograph (inaccurately – the penultimate L.H. quaver, b, remained unchanged), whereas the sources based on [A2] already contain the changed version (regardless of the rhythmic changes). The version of EL may be Kolberg's revision after the analogy with b. 22. category imprint: Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations; Source & stylistic information issues: Errors resulting from corrections , Errors of A , Corrections of AI , Kolberg's revisions , Revisions in EL |

The marks in CJ and CK look like long accents, although the one in CJ is written a quaver later. Having compared it with similar b. 22, we consider the mark of CK to be more accurate. The versions of CB and EL cannot be authentic; however, the diminuendo hairpin in EL is one of the possible interpretations of the manuscripts. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources; Corrections & alterations issues: Long accents , Inaccuracies in JC , Balakirev's revisions |

In A1 the L.H. part is marked in an abridged manner as a repetition of the preceding bar (•/•). Chopin used an abbreviation also in [A2] (→CJ,CK), yet the notation is inaccurate – two / marks interpreted literally mean a double repetition of the last figure in the preceding bar. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Abbreviated notation of A |
