In GE2, attempts were taken to reproduce the text of GE1 without any changes, however, a few retouches were introduced:
- the length of accents was standardized by substituting short marks for longer ones,
- in the middle part the vertical slurs (meaning arpeggiation) before grace notes were replaced with conventional slurs linking grace note to the nearest quaver,
- the placement of the signs was revised, sometimes aptly correcting imprecision in GE1.
Errors were not avoided, e.g. the accent in b. 69 was misplaced so it is not clear to which note it refers.
