b. 298

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

..

The traces of proofreading in print, visible in FE, allow us to state that the penultimate semiquaver was initially a b1. It was most probably the original version, since it seems to be highly unlikely that the note could have been printed by mistake.

b. 300

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

The most bottom note of the quaver chord in GE1 is an erroneous f1, which was corrected already in GE2 (→GE3).

b. 300

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

In GE1, the last note in the L.H. is an e1. A comparison with analogous bars 284, 286 and 302 proves the engraver's mistake. It was corrected in subsequent GE.

f3 in chord in FE (→EE) & GE3

d3 in chord in GE1GE2)

A comparison with the five bars, which had already occurred, containing a similar procedure proves the mistake of GE1 (→GE2), corrected in GE3.

b3 as our alternative suggestion

..

The manner the 4th semiquaver was printed in FE raises doubts concerning its pitch; it may have been supposed to be a b3, like in the majority of the editions in analogous bar 288. Due to this reason, we consider that it is permissible to play bhere if one chose bin bar 288.
