b. 21

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major

A wedge in A

A dot in GE

The sign was removed in the proofing of FE (→EE)

..

The engraver of GE rendered the wedge from A as a dot. That sign is very poorly visible in FE; this may be due to faulty printing (cf. bar 1), but it is more probable that Chopin removed the dot while proofing FE (→EE).

in the middle of the semiquaver grouping in A

closer to the end of the grouping in GE (→FEEE)

..

The pedal use in GE (→FEEE) probably results from inaccurate reconstruction of the notation of A. Still, Chopin did not change it, only corrected the contour of the accompaniment in that bar, which may mean that he considered that pedalling acceptable.

b. 25-27

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major

A slur in A

FE (→EE)

..

The earlier beginning of the slur in GE is probably the example of reading the manuscript markings in a certain  manner characteristic for GE. Connecting that slur with the next one in FE (→EE) must be the result of Chopin's correction of FE.

b. 28

composition: Op. 27 No 2, Nocturne in D♭ major

..

In GE1 (→FE) the slur beginning in bar 27 has no continuation in bar 28 that opens a new line of text. That obvious mistake was corrected in EE and GE2.
