b. 111-112

composition: Op. 22, Andante spianato

In the main text we suggest differentiated accents after analogous b. 67-68 and 70-71. In the face of uncertainty concerning Chopin's intention as to the type of the accents used, the remaining versions can be considered equivalent variants. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Long accents , Inaccuracies in GE , GE revisions |

The longer slur of EE is most probably a revision based on a comparison with analogous bars, e.g. b. 67-68 and 70-71. According to us, Chopin probably added the top slur as the simplest manner of correcting the inaccurate bottom slur, thus abandoning its proofreading. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions |

The longer slur of EE is the version introduced on the basis of analogy with b. 95-96. Just like in the case of the accent, we believe that a certain independence of performance indications in this very short coda should be observed. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions |
