composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt III

..

In the main text we add cautionary flats before b2 at the beginning of bars 454, 455 and 462. The signs were added also in EE3. In bar 463, being the last similar situation, a respective   was added by Chopin already in A (→GEFEEE).

While proofreading FE (→EE), Chopin changed – just like in analogous bars 415 and 423 – d2 to e2 featured on the penultimate quaver in bars 455 and 463.

b. 455

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt III

..

In A the only accidental before the 1st chord in the R.H. is the cautionary  before e2. From the musical point of view, the version with dwould be possible, yet a comparison with analogous bar 425 and a  of d3 added – probably by Chopin – already in GE1 (→FEEE, →GE2) prove Chopin's mistake. Chopin committed the same mistake in a similar context in bar 423.
In the main text we omit the unjustified  before e2.

b. 456

composition: Op. 21, Concerto in F minor, Mvt III

..

Just like in bars 453-454, the crossings-out visible in A allow us to read the previous version of this bar:

It allows us to classify the last chord in the L.H. in analogous bar 416 as the original version and not a Terzverschreibung error.
