A (→GE) features a d2 as the penultimate quaver in bar 415. In the proofreading of FE (→EE), Chopin changed the notation of this note to e2. He performed an identical change in the notation of the topmost note of the chord on the penultimate quaver in bar 423. Similarly in bars 455 and 463.

In A (→GE) the crotchet of the bottom voice is written as a g2. Similarly, the bottom note of the 3rd quaver is a g1. While proofreading FE (→EE), Chopin changed the notation of both notes to a2(1), in accordance with the way in which he wrote all subsequent appearances of similar bars.
