In ½Chopin would try to avoid writing on the cello stave, as a result of which he wrote both  signs before respective bass notes. It also contributed to an earlier placement of the  sign, with respect to analogous bar 152, which in GE1 (→FE) was moved even closer to the beginning of the bar. EE and GE2 introduced some changes in the placement of the signs too (GE2 after A). In the main text we give an interpretation of the notation of A compliant with bar 152.

In A there is not a single  raising d to d. Four out of six necessary signs – only both naturals before d2 were overlooked – were added already in GE1 (→FE), which could have been performed by the reviser. EE and GE2 have the correct text.

According to us, the pedalling of A is written inaccurately in this bar, which was probably caused by the transition to a new page and distraction at the time of writing the same bar for the third time – in bar 157 the pedalling is again compliant with bars 151 and 153. The versions of the editions are certainly arbitrary  – cf. bars 151-153.

In A Chopin overlooked some of the necessary accidentals: naturals before dd2 and a. The first and third of these patent inaccuracies were corrected already in GE1 (→FE); the fully correct text is in EE and GE2. In the main text we also add a cautionary  before bat the beginning of the bar.

In A (→GE1FE) there are no accidentals in the 2nd half of the bar. The necessary naturals were added in EE and GE2.
