A later impression of GE1, in which the majority of its mistakes was corrected on the basis of GC and further revisions were performed. Among the corrections one can mention:
-
restoring
in bar 1 (yet the 
sign overlooked in bar 5 was not completed); -
restoring and in bars 18-19;
-
adding a
sign in bars 47-48 (the sign is longer than in GC); -
moving the
sign to the correct place in bar 49; - adding the middle notes of the chord in bar 66;
- restoring the dashes delimiting the range of crescendo in bars 69-72;
- restoring the correct sound of the last chord in bar 77;
- correcting the slurs in bar 87 in accordance with the musical sense;
-
restoring
in bar 97; - pedalling correction in bars 103-104;
-
restoring in bar 111 and
in bar 198; -
restoring
signs in bars 127-128 and 135; - correcting the Terzverschreibung error in bar 148;
- restoring the slur in bar 205;
-
restoring B
1 in the chord in bar 241.
In addition, cautionary accidentals were added, e.g., in bar 125, 183 or 199, slurs were also completed and revised, e.g., in bars 212-214; an overlooked chord in GC (→GE1) was added in bar 217 and the 
in bar 219 was moved to the correct place (contrary to GC).
In GE2 new mistakes were also committed, as, e.g., shifting the in bar 218.
There are copies of GE2 differing in the price on the cover.
