g2 instead of f2 at the last quaver of the bar is certainly a mistake of Chopin in [A]. It is proved by the  before the note, present both in FE1 (→FE2) and GC, which originally also included g2. Chopin corrected the mistake in GC and the proofreading of FE3 (→FE4). The erroneous version was passed down to EE1, in which it was revised, by deleting the , which was superfluous before g2.

Taking into account the versions of FE and GC, one may assume that the slur of GC at the end of b. 157 could have been added by Chopin. The aim of that change was undoubtedly a slur encompassing the entire three-quaver motif (as it is 4 bars earlier), which was guessed in EE (the correction could have even been introduced by Chopin in the Stichvorlage for EE). GE reproduced the notation of GC literally, i.e. as coinciding slurs.

The pedalling in GC was added by Chopin. GE1 recreated it incompletely and inaccurately, which was completed – inaccurately – in GE2. The pedalling of GE1 was repeated and completed also in EE2. Cf. bars 179-180, 189-191 and 193-198.
