It is not certain whether the slur was added by Chopin in GC or overlooked in FE1 (→FE2). In GC (→GE) one slur embraces the part of the L.H. in both bars. The absence of slurs in GE1 is undoubtedly an oversight of the engraver, rectified in GE2. The FE version also results most probably from the engraver's mistake.
