In the main text we include an additional slur of c2-b1, probably added by Chopin in a proofreading of FE. The sign was overlooked, probably accidentally, in GE1Ab (→GE2Ab).

The fminim in GE is a repetition of a mistake committed in a proof copy of FE, being its base text. In the finished FE (→EE) the mistake was corrected.

In A Chopin overlooked the  lowering to b (the sign is present in As). A similar mistake was committed in GE1Ab too.

In the main text, we give the  hairpin on the basis of A. The versions of the editions are either an inaccurate image of A, as it is in the case of FE (→EE), or a result of a revision unifying similar places – GE2op (→GE3op). In the remaining GE the sign was overlooked.
