In AI there are no pedalling marks in these bars. The absence of cancelling the pedal taken at the beginning of bar 44 is not surprising in the original, shorter version of the ending (see another note to bars 48-49). Holding the pedal until the end of the piece is, however, possible also after considering the ending written in AI, so that the absence of indications in this autograph does not have to be considered as an oversight.
